The CSL Partnership was formed
in April 2001 from the amalgamation of two firms of accountants and
the acquisition of a third. Three partners and twelve staff handle
the affairs of approximately 400 business and 200 personal clients.
Paul Scholes, partner at the Ewell office has long been an advocate
of client relationship management systems.

Paul takes up
the story "With IRIS we no longer have to maintain several client
lists or databases. IRIS is now the heart of everything 'client'.
Consequently, if a client changes their address it gets entered
once and is then available, not only to the other IRIS programs,
such as accounts production and personal tax but is live for any
client listings we want to produce, for newsletters, accounts
chasers, correspondence and even emails.
When we started to use IRIS programs (for example Accounts
Production) we could immediately measure the benefits because we
had a product to compare before and after.
With IRIS Practice Management, the measurement is in an
increase in efficiency, better information and client management
and the actual planning of work weeks or months before it's due to
start.
The result: Being able to stay in control of work,
anticipating problems rather than reacting to them and, above all,
having far more time available to provide additional or enhanced
services, or just to go home."
